Bruce H. Walton
Bruce Walton has over twenty years of executive recruiting experience. He recruits CEOs and their direct reports to mid-cap industrial, technology and family-owned businesses.
Before helping found Conley & Company, he was a Partner with Heidrick & Struggles in Boston, where he was a member of the Industrial, International Technology and Family-Owned Business practices. He was also a member of the CFO and CIO functional specialty practices. Previously, Mr. Walton was a recruiter for ten years with Russell Reynolds Associates, where he gained experience in a broad range of industries and functions.
Prior to entering the search industry, Bruce spent seven years in sales and regional marketing roles with IBM’s National Accounts and Data Processing Divisions. His customers included major Boston-based insurance and banking organizations. He began his career with Hood Sailmakers as Dealer Sales Manager.
A former deck officer in the US Navy, Bruce earned an A.B. in sociology from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a past-president of the Harvard Business School Association of Boston (HBSAB).
